A wildcard is a one-shot squad rebuild. The biggest gains come from pairing it with a fixture swing window so your new squad's upcoming run is materially easier than the league average.
When To Wildcard
- Multiple players from teams with poor upcoming fixtures.
- An incoming fixture swing across 3+ teams.
- Persistent injuries you cannot fix with free transfers.
Squad Structure
Balance budget across the spine: at least two premium attackers, a reliable defensive double-up, and 2–3 enabler picks that free spend for upgrades.
